Savory oatmeal




1/2 cup raw Oatmeal

1 Tsp flaxseed

1 Tsp Hempseeds 1/8 Tsp of Coriander (whole or powder) 1/8 Tsp of Cardamom (whole or powder)

1/8 Tsp of Cumin (whole or powder)

1 Tsp Ghee or Coconut oil


Put Ghee or coconut in a pan, add all the spices till absorbed. Add the Oats.

Add 1 cup of water and cook over low heat until all water is absorbed, about 20-30 mins.


Add 1/8 Tsp of Cinnamon powder and a pinch of nutmeg on top.


Optional: Sprinkle some raw pumpkin seeds or Sunflower seeds on top of your oatmeal.


A Breakfast Rice


3/4 cup cooked basmati rice (from night before)

1/4 tsp ground coriander

1/8 tsp ground cardamom

1 tsp ghee



Bring all ingredients to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes or less. Serve whole or blend to a smooth texture.

Sprinkle 1/8 Tsp of Cinnamon on top of your oatmeal.
